The title says it all pretty much. I've had this Gibson Studio Les Paul since 2009 and it's been my main guitar until I got a Carvin DC800 in 2012. The LP had stock pickups for a few years then I decided it'd be a great idea to put in the "lovely" EMG 81/85 combo which at the time I loved but slowly grew to dislike it. I stopped playing my LP for the longest time since I didn't like the how it sounded.

I recently have been on a vintage tone obsession (I purchased a Fender MIM J bass a few months ago) so I thought these pickups would definitely bring back my love for my LP and they definitely have. I'm very pleased with how they sound so far.

TL;DR : These pickups are rad and I'm stoked on them.

A thread like this couldn't be complete without a few pics! :wavey:

And of course here is a half-assed clip that forum member Nagash told me to do.

Signal chain is just LP -> Axe Fx II -> Reaper

    Thanks, everyone.

the screws are supposed to be next to the bridge, the slugs are supposed to be away from the bridge.

could it be a 59 neck model in the bridge, and vice versa for the Jazz ?

EDIT: the neck looks good, but it's only the bridge apparently. but that's okay since there isn't much difference between the bridge and neck models (Neck: 7.43k 6.8KHz Bridge: 6KHz 8.13k according to the website) you'll just have a slightly brighter slightly lower output bridge !
