After over 2 months of Royal Mail shenanigans, I finally received these. I decided to put them in my Strandberg to replace the Suhr SSV/SSH+ set. I liked the SSV for most things and the SSH+ was great for bridge leads, but I wasn't a fan of it for everything else.

The Silos are chunky, a bit thicccc, and mostly very clear and articulate, which is what I was looking for. This guitar needed a bit more balls without going too extreme, as the guitar is really bright in general. I've only played with them for a couple hours but so far my first impressions are good.

A friend asked for some quick clips of them, so I figured I'd share here as well:

Sounds super fat indeed. Good thing clips are starting to surface!

Low mids sound clearer than the Juggernaut despite the fatness. If the neck and bridge lead tones are using the same preset, then they're wonderfully balanced.

    Yes they are.

Neck pickup is about 4.5mm from low E, bridge is about 3.5mm.
