Me and a couple of friends have made funny ridiculous songs in Tuxguitar since 2012, and I decided to start uploading some to Youtube. Here is the first one I've put up:

I hope this is the right subforum, not sure if it should be in the Music Theory one. Anyways, there's rarely anything theoretically correct in these songs. I might post more here later.

Here's another one, made by a friend. Fun for those who likes horror soundtracks and Jordan Rudess.

It's so absurd it's surprising how close these sound to my serious attempts at writing music on TuxGuitar.

I'll be back when finished crying...

    Cheers!

I don't think anything he does is intentional, but he must have heard that or something similar and made a parody of it subconsciously

I want to play that first song. Seems like it's in E major? It's too small for me to read most of it. I'll try anyway, it's beautiful haha

We actually did an epic masterpiece with 16 parts that is over 14 minutes in total, which was kind of the first thing we did. It took over a year I think and at the end I was the only one that really pushed for it to be completed. I might put it up at some point but it's gonna be a bit more work to cut them together.

Why would you do such a master piece if not to show it to us, SSO pals? DO IT NOW! :D

I figured out last year how to get your old school phone ring in Guitar Pro 7. I can't quite remember it off hand though. Maybe I'll see if I can figure it out.

EDIT: I tried it just now. 188 bpm, triplet 16ths. 5-8-5-8-5-8 as you see fit on the high E string. Sounds like an office phone.

I will, but I'll put up some of the smaller pieces first ;)

Also "epic masterpiece" might be a bit overstated. There are parts and themes that are connected plus a Dream Theater-ish epilogue, but most of it is just incoherent nonsense like these first ones.

Here's another short one from me. Most of it was made from impatience, but the final chord is a nice one from the outro of Skyfall.

I get strong Zappa vibes from some of these. Neat!

Here's a song (by the same guy who wrote the Tail of the Drunken Cow) written for four bassist and one drummer. A masterpiece if you ask me.
