I don't actually know. The first thing I checked was the control cavity, but there was nothing left of any active electronics. Maybe I'll put in a boost or something like that in the future. And if I ever decide to swap pups to actives (not very likely scenario though) it's nice to have a battery cavity already installed.

    Damn, what a good price.
I love the look of the custom body, bit more tame looking than your average Ibanez.

Yeah, I know who made it... Most of you will strongly dislike the maker. It's Ed "bunghole" Roman :fawk:

I was sceptical for a while because of Ed's well deserved reputation (even if he's dead as a stone now), but the guitar looked so fine and it was so cheap that I pulled the trigger. And I'm glad I did.

I think it was more his hard-to-deal-with reputation and high original prices that were the issue rather than the quality of the guitars themselves.

And he was shady as feck. But as said, the quality is top notch and I have no regrets.

Nope. Below the tinted finish there's white korina... I opened the back plate and there's a spot without a finish and it's definitely korina in there.

Also, I just noticed my brainfart on the first message. Not white KOA but white korina. Sorry.
