There seems to be a good side on getting older... I turn 30 next january and my wife said that I get to choose a bday guitar. And if one turns out earlier then be it, she'll buy it for me.

Day before yesterday IT popped up on a finnish marketplace. So, after a quick messaging with the owner it was mine. My friend picked it up a few hundred kilometers away from me and brought it to me today. So, without further rambling here's a couple of pics. Hope you enjoy.

    Specs:
White koa body w/ maple cap
    dimarzio breed 7's

the rest you know already from the pics.

She'll need a good setup, but everything else is just peachy.

That's pretty. I can recall seeing many ibanez' with 5 screws at the neck joint either.

Is this a real Ibby or just the neck?

Man, nothing seems normal about that body -- horn contours, rear rib contour, the neck joint, cavity cover shape, even the figuring of the quilt seems atypical. As an RGA fan, very nice, but was this a custom shop thing or what?

Could be a LACS situation or something similar, no line branding on the headstock, which I think you only really see on Iron Labels and CS stuff. Does look very a-typical for an Ibanez, really interesting though, would love to play it. Like the bastard child of an Ibanez and a PRS.

    Yeah, it's a custom body.. 7620 neck.

No problem guys, it's not meant to be ibanez, except the neck.

LoPro Edge is the best Floyd-like bridge ever made. Congrats.

    But what's the battery for?

Yeah, this thread was supposed to be NPCD. Glad you picked that up at once :fawk:

Thanks guys. This pillow cov... erm... guitar is going to be really sweet after a setup. And at 450 euros I think it was a total steal. Guitar, new locking nut, tools, strap with locks and a hard case for that amount of money, yes please. :agreed:
