    I just don't like how they function, its a pain in the ass the change a string for me at least. The fact that I need a flathead, no bueno

    I mean I feel it could be s bit closer but I see know issue with it tone wise

    Not a fan of the colour, the top, the body shape, or the split fretboard...Love the headstock and back side though that grain is absolutely gorgeous around the neck thru... and I bet she sounds phenominal!! . :)

    Awesome man you finally got it no doubt vik makes some magic and i still want one :lol: but with that story i can see how it can buzz kill a guitar build hngd anyways braj!

    A lot of TOM hate in these parts. I love recessed TOMS more than Hipshots. I want try try a hannes bridge

    +1 for recessed TOM's Rob gave me a couple options for the upcoming build couldnt go past the TOM

    Yep, never gotten it myself. Never had problems with them, even on an LP

    Congrats man :) Sorry that it had to take so long :(
    I was going to ask about the tuners. Confused me a bit at first but there's a knack to em and you wont need a flathead (a guitar pick works pretty well anyway if you do need something).
    Next time you destring, unscrew the tuner cap. Now pop it back on and screw it down until the string can only just about slip through. This is your default position. Slip the string through, tune up a touch and it should lock :) There should be no reason to have to adjust the cap again after this point unless you change gauges and need to reset its default height - and even then you can do that with your bare hands.

    Thanks. I def figured it all last night. First impression just rubbed me the wrong way since I've been using sperzel for many years nows.

    I'm so happy you finally got this. It turned out amazing.

    Looks fine. If it was closer the sound would get to thin. Its already going to be very tight and defined because of the 27.5" scale and woods used.
