Today I picked up this 9/10 used American Professional Jazzmaster off a forum member (other board). A couple of minor dings but overall great condition, and came with the sweet Fender hardshell. It needs a minor setup (some green on fret ends, action, overall once-over) but I'm enjoying it. Until I get my next digital rig, it's me and my Mustang I/GarageBand. I don't mind, I just want to play it! This guitar seems pretty loud unplugged, and I love the satin neck of the Professional series. It wasn't the exact jazzmaster I had envisioned (that was even "for sale" until the seller backed out) but it's a damn nice one anyway. I'm moving closer towards my From Indian Lakes cover band .
I frequently build one very similar to this on the mod shop page. I'm a little jealous - I mean totally just super stoked for you!
I always have the blue light filter on with my phone - it looks more seafoam under direct light. I love the colour blue as well as the colour green, so most variants work to my liking . Messaged the guy I got it from to find out the string gauge. Feels good, just needs to be lowered a hair. Also gotta read the manual regarding the bridge.
