I am very excited to present two guitars that have joined me very recently (hadn't had time to make a new NGD post).
First is a Taylor 114ce that I found a good deal on. Super excited to finally have a decent acoustic so I can get my folk on
.
Secondly, I have a guitar that I decided to build myself during school. Having access to Stanford's Product Realization Lab, which is magical place that has a woodshop, metalshop, and anything you'd like to build stuff, I decided that I had to make something before I graduated. I went out and bought some Honduran mahogany and flamed maple, as well as a zebrawood-wenge neck, 25.5" scale and 9.25" radius. For the hardware, I decided to go with a Schaller-Hannes bridge and Hipshot open-geared tuners. I then decided on Dimarzio Titans for the pickups. Lastly, I finished the guitar using Birchwood Casey's Tru Oil. Hope y'all enjoy the pics!
