Wow! I just received my Sully 622 and it's a beast. These models are priced between his custom line and his korean made line of instruments. They are built by Jon Sullivan himself but have very limited specifications to keep costs down. I chose shell pink nitro, roasted flame maple neck and board, and an H-S pickup configuration. This guitar is set up in drop C and the action is delightful right out of the box. Frets are butter, neck is smooth, and the finish is beautiful. The pickups are fun as well. They're Grover Jackson pickups, wound by the man himself. The bridge pickup was a custom design and didn't have a name so I named it the Special Sauce pickup, as the guitar looks like the color of burger sauce. The pickups seem really nice thus far, I'll just have to adjust the neck and bridge to have more similar output as the neck setting is a bit quieter though the tone is amazing. Here are some quick pics and a family photo as I haven't done that in a bit. I also just put a deposit down on a Sully Stardust(the shape of the guitar between the pink mustang and the pink 622) 7string in a similarly bright finish. Gonna go play it some more, cheers!
