Hey guys! got this in this morning, '01 Ibanez K-7 in Firespeak Blue. she has some wear and tear, but nothing major for a 13 year old guitar. It has a good amount of weight to it, being mahogany and all, but I dont play live shows (at least for now) so that isn't really an issue.

All in all, a very solid guitar, set it up for drop A flat, and it sounds like a monster! The pickups are Dimarzio PAF7's, it is my first experience with them, but so far so good. The cleans they produce are heavenly.

    Specs:
    Color: Firespeak Blue
    Body Material: Mahogany
    Fret Wire: Jumbo
Neck Wood: 5-piece maple w/ bubinga
    Neck Scale: 25.5"
    Neck Joint: AANJ
    Hardware: Powder Cosmo
    Pickups: 2x DiMarzio PAF7
Bridge/Tremolo: LoPro Double Edge 7 (no U bar, regular bar for the win)
    Manufacture: Japan

Pics (she's still a little dirty):

The sparkle in the finish is surprisingly hard to capture, but it looks amazing in the right light. as far as tone, the PAFs are pretty versatile, though I could see how some would want pups with more attack to them. Had to turn the gain up a little more than normal to get DAT TONE out of them.

In the end, 10/10 would recommend.

    Thanks for looking!

I just got a 752 and I know exactly what you mean about the PAF's. They are by far (even out of stock premiums) the least-hot pup I've ever run across. They sound pretty good though, but I like them best so far with pretty close to the strings with the poles going with the radius.

    Guitar looks great man, enjoy!

Glad you're happy with her! Nice pics too!
I really enjoyed the PAF7's in that guitar. You do need to turn the gain up quite a bit more but I found they retained clarity at higher gain and could get just as aggressive as high output pups. :yesway:

Thanks! They are interesting, I'm having fun experimenting with different tones haha. You get your axe yet?
