For many years I have avoided Paulas because of the shape, which I find not so pleasant to play compared to Teles and of course Strats.
However, the PRS has exactly the sound that I have been chasing for even longer, sometimes more, sometimes less intense.

The slight emphasis in the lower midrange compared to the "usual" Les Paul provides such an incredible sound with just the right foundation.

I've definitely had way too little play time so far, but my AXE presets, which I made for the Funeral for a Friend "Hours" (one of my all time favorite sound/band) tone with a Tele (which also sounds incredible) have become a lot more authenitic.

This Singlecut is from the year 2000, so "pre lawsuit" and was modded with the original intonable bridge.

What I find really sick is that the guitar sounds equally full and fat over the whole fretboard, which I had never experienced before with any other guitar.

Such a beaty. I had a 06' version artist package which I miss... Is it the 24,5 or 25 inch scale?

What a gorgeous top. I have an older Custom 22 that I want to get around to upgrading with the intonatable bridge at some point, nice score!

    Congrats, that is beautiful!
I just became a lawyer a little over a week ago when I acquired my first Les Paul. I thought about becoming a dentist but I went with something a little cheaper that I wouldn't feel bad about beating up and leaving out of the case.

    Congrats. PRS singlecuts are great!

@couchguitarplayer this one should be 25", the "245" was the 24.5" they introduced later on.

I'm not a PRS fan, but that is a really cool looking guitar. I think I like that better than their double cuts. Can you get a pic of the heel? I'm curious what that looks like on that bad boy.

And can you take a look at this tooth? When I eat candy I get this tingling. Do you think it's a cavity?

    Thanks a lot guys.

I haven't measured it myself yet but based on the specs it should be 25" and it feels exactly like that.
    So 99% sure ;)

It was modded with a bone saddle

    Is that sufficient?
Feel free to let me know if you want a certain angle.

Has anyone ever compared Gotoh directly with the Schaller Locking Vintage versions?
I can't get along with non Lockings and I don't think I even want to try ;)
