Hey guys! Just got this during my lunchbreak :scream: and decided to share it!

First of all thanks to Musza, our faithful Skervesen pusher. Always a pleasure doing business with him.

Saw this beauty some time ago on his facebook page, Morning Wood, and after a while just decided to bite the bullet. Thanks Tomasz!

    Specs:

25,5 scale, bodo body, flamed maple AAAAA/mastergrade top, 5-piece rosewood/ebony neck with rosewood Santos fretboard and Jescar stainless frets. Bare Knuckle Pickups Abraxas white calibrated set. Viper headstock, Hipshot locking tuners, pearl overall binding, World Domination Mod controls, Dunlop straplocks.

First impression - I really like the BKP Abraxas, still tight and defined but definitely more rounded than the Aftermaths I have in another Skervy. The guitar still has what I think is the Skervesen "signature sound" - tight, precise, clear, but always musical, and always very responsive to your playing technique. Dynamic - something I really enjoying, both when playing some hard-rock licks or when chugging at the lower notes. The woods used here are not the usual swamp ash for the body, but rather a quite rare wood - Bodo - do not honestly know how much effect this has on the overall tone, but sure it looks good!

    And now the p0rn:

Really awesome axe, mate. I love that bodo figuring. With skervs you can't decide what is better - top or back

Thanks! The guitar looks even better live, the glossy top and the perloid binding really give it a classy look :) and the colour is a bit more on the orange side. Therefore yesterday I named her Ginger. Gotta love a redhead! :hbang:

I normally can't stand Skervesen, but this is definitely an exception! A few minor aesthetic touches I wouldn't have made, but overall it looks great! HNGD!

Well, from a "tactile" point of view the guitars is a dream - feels almost silky on the neck, if that makes sense :D I have (and had) several Skervy and this one really stands out. The guitar is still really percussive, clear and articulate - something that all Skervesen have, in my opinion - but has more sustain and more harmonics than the other Raptors I have played. Very nice.

Also, did not think I would be impressed so much by the Abraxas, but I really dig them. Quite versatile - with Neck and Bridge pups in parallel in split coil configuration I have found myself playing some Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff, and the sounds is really pristine. Just cool - and yep, it still DJENTS when needed! :D
