Someone in another forum tipped me off that Guitar Center had this in stock used. And it was at a great price as well! Cant imagine what they gave the guy who sold it to them :erk:. Either way Ive been wanting to try an Aristides for a bit now so this was a great chance to do so at half the cost. It had one small chip on the headstock that was touched up with matching paint but other than that it was in great shape. Of course it had the typical GC setup, neck bowed backwards, strings bottomed out and filthy. So after a proper setup and good cleaning this beauty plays and sounds amazing! Im really impressed with it. It is resonent. And the attack is great on it. Great fretwork as well, up there with my Carillion and Blackmachine. The pickups sound good but Im still not to sure. Theyre the custom wound Bare Knuckles. Very clear and articulate but have a good amount of output. May have to do some adjusting on them. Other than that I think I may have to order another soon!

    That one's cool though!

I came in expecting 'tides and you did not disappoint. Awesome color. Must be pretty rare to find a left handed one in the wild!

Yeah they are. I’ve been playing like this for 23 years. It’s a b6 so not too special. But I think there were only 2 or 3 made.

so dumb question, but with something like a strat that has staggered pickup poles meant for specific sting, i assume you have to flip your pickups in that scenario?

Yes exactly. Luckily I never really played strats. I like my humbuckers. Lol
