    Right on!

I like mine a lot! I didn't go with the optional case (no shirt w. mine either!) where did you get all of this for $400? I got mine from Amazon - It was $399 shipped but was just the guitar & allen wrenches.

Let me know how the F# works for you. I din't dig mine - but that could just be me....

    Congrats!

How's the neck feel on this guitar? Is it relatively thin? curious because that sounds like a great price for an 8 string, and I want one...

my picture situation sucks (56k here :D) so im stil lworkin on it!

yes, i got it from drum city guitarland. i got tons of free shit like the schecter decimator string set and the tshirt. i failed to mention that the case was an extra 100$ though but its a nice case.

i never knew what people meant when they said schecters had "baseball bat" necks. i found it to be quite thin (not as thin as my ibby though) but still damn thin.
the only real complaints (if you can even call it that) is that the way the neck was bolted on (the big block thing) makes the higher frets pretty much useless. also,i have it tuned half step down so i can jam out mah meshuggah jams ;) and it sounds fine except the F can sound kinda floppy, moreso than what you agile owners have. (what do they have, like a 30 inch sclae or somthing?) but overall, its a really solid guitar. in my opinion, schecter could have justified charging 600$ or so for this. i kinda regret not spending the extra 200 to get teh damien elite 8 cuz im an actives fan and the quilted maple top look beautiful. the stock pickups are meh but what stock pups arent?! ive been looking into a set of blackouts. ive heard they beat out EMGs in terms of excessive noise and a more organic sound.

all in all, a PERFECT starter guitar. i mainly picked this up because meshuggah and after the burial are my favorite bands, and ive been looking to simply experiment a little bit. you will not be dissapoint! (cept the pups ;D)

Looks good, man! I dig the satin color, much better than flat black IMO.

the guitar, according to the drum city website was the schecter prototype and said taht the color was "vampyre red" which i thought was cool. my friend has the omen 6 in the satin color and its much deeper than this. or maybe this really is the satin, idk haha
