Hi guys, I got my Schecter KM-7 Keith Merrow in the mail a few weeks ago. Before I ordered I was deliberating whether I should get the original one or the MKII one. I decided to get the original one because I prefer the look and the price. When I got it I straight away though it was a great guitar but it wasn't perfect to begin with. The neck pick-up was really loose but that was easily fixed by screwing it down. The action was very high but I got that set up really nicely. And finally I saw a flaw on the neck. At the first fret the binding was letting go of the neck ever so slightly causing a very small gap. Since this guitar was so nice I decided to fix that myself by pooring some super glue in there. I had done a lot of research prior to that but now it's as good as new I know that would freak some people out even though it was hardly noticeable but still, something worth mentioning. Aside from those minor flaws this guitar is INSANE! I just love the swamp-ash body because the tone of the wood is just great and loud! Love ebony boards so that's all good too. The pickups are super good too, just as KM describes them in the videos, very articulate and aggressive. The neck pick-up sounds super sweet though. Just a stellar sounding guitar with amazing playability. I made a video too. Hope you enjoy!
