I bought this guitar a couple months ago and I have been loving it every day since! I mean this thing has some top specs! The Banshee Mach 7 features a swamp ash body with an extremely comfortable maple "radius" top. It has an ultra slim roasted maple/purple heart neck with an ebony fretboard and stainless steel frets. AND It comes stock with a set of Lundgren M7 pickups!

What's better than pictures? A video? I think? I put together a short demo using some of my favorite tones that I have gotten out of this guitar. I will demonstrate more pickup positions/tones in a future video. Yes, this is a 7 string but I am primarily a lead guitarist. I put the time stamps in the video (I have been completely obsessing over the low-gain coil tap tones around 1:20)

I have a few more YouTube videos planned showcasing this guitar. Also feel free to leave any questions you may have about this guitar or these pickups below or on the YouTube video itself! I try to get back to everyone. :)

Something interesting I just thought about Schecter's choice to use the Hipshot Ibby HM bridge - They're using a Hipshot bridge that was made to retrofit guitars that came with the bridge that Ibanez designed to be their Hipshot competitor. So many steps, all leading back to Hipshot

Supposedly the mass of the bridge gives it it's own tonal footprint. It's why Keith Merrow started using it on his signature models.

Love it mate. Been researching on YouTube these recent Schecter production guitars and they look & sound amazing, with crazy specs too. Planning to pickup the Mach 7 FR S model hopefully in the next couple of months. Pretty excited just the thought of it :D

They can't be beat in my opinion. Schecter makes the best production guitars and they seem to be stepping it up every year. There's like 3 more Schecters I want right now from their newer models

It feels that way to me as well. I think credit goes to WMI which seems to have stepped up their game the last few years. Used to own a PRS SE Tremonti (early 2000s) and Schecter Temptest (mid 2000) and the quality were like my samick back then tbh :D But my most recent WMI purchases, an Ormsby Goliath 7 (2018) and Jackson Wildcard SL27 EX (2021) has definitely been quality purchases. Really on par / better than the MIJ Jacksons from the 90's, which are probably better than some of the USA / Custom shop ones i've owned. And Schecter seems to have that consistency in churning out quality products with their strict QC that'll set purchaser's mind at ease.

So which other models are you interested in? Was considering the Sun valley and evil twin / apocalypse meself :D

Yeah, the MIK guitars are really good quality and the price reflects it. I remember when MIk guitars were all under 1k.

I'm also looking at the Sun Valley and the Van Nuys PT. I'd like to grab a 6 string next. They both look gorgeous!
