So, I got rid of my Agile..(I posted an NGD for that if you want to check it out)..yeah...It was an alright guitar. But there are better guitars for that same price (or in this case, less). But I'm not one to bash guitar companies; to each his own. But let's just say I'm glad to have something more...inspiring. The ole Agile had a good run though...haha.

I have been waiting FOREVVEERRR for this thing to come out, and I finally got one!

This guitar is AWESOME. It feels great, it feels solid. I immediately fell in love when I played it! And I mean...look at it! It's pretty too!

Specs (copy and pasted from ebay ha)
Scale: 25.5”
Nut Width: 50mm
Neck Width, 12th fret: 60mm
Body Wood: Basswood
Neck Wood: Maple
Fretboard Wood: Rosewood
Tuning Machines: Locking
Hardware: Black
Neck Joint: 5 Bolt
Frets: 24
Fretboard Radius: 16”
Pickup Selector: 3 way
Pickups: H/H, Sterling By Music Man Design
Bridge: Modern Tremolo

Pros

• The guitar came with decent pickups. Although I'm still gonna switch them out and put my BKP Black Hawks in it. (Which will be beyond awesome)
• The coloring and finish look magnificent! Very glossy, and the black/fade to purple looks perfect!
• Dark Purple is my favorite color so that just deserved it's own "pros" bullet. haha.
• The volume, tone, and pup selector are out of the way (for me at least) HIGHLY unlike my Agile...all the knobs were just...way too close to my hands all the time. I always ended up bumping them.

• Stays in tune perfectly!
Cons

• Literally...at this moment....none!
What more can you ask for in a guitar, am I right!?!?

SUPER Happy. :yesway:

(Don't underestimate the power of the goofy blue chair)

LOL! I've never realized just how goofy it is until now...I'm just so used to it! It's my mom's chair, she was a hair stylist and that is a left over chair from one of her salons from back in the day....haha...it is pretty goofy now that I think about it. It has great playability though. :yesway:

Justice! I wish the body was matte satin because I fell in love with a recent purple dc700 ngd. Not too many purple jp's you see. Most of the people has a GAS towards the green one what I've read.

I've ordered a purple jp70 too, paid and everything. Don't know when it arrives tho

Do you have any pictures without the flash? I ended up getting a green (which don't get me wrong, I love the deep color of) but I wanted to see how dark the fade is with low/room lighting? (semi-buyer's remorse... I love my guitar but had a tough time deciding on the color haha)

edit: HNGD!

finally a purple one, eh? Im considering selling my Agile 727 Interceptor pro for one of these.. but I dunno. the lack of maple fretboard usually is a big issue, while the Agile maple fretboard feels great. Just my hatred of Floyds renewed, and love of vintage-style tremolos so lacking in 7 strings outside of the JP's.

Looks good though, hope to see one in a music store someday soon to test it out

Overall I kind of like these, but I really don't know what to think about the trem. It just looks kind of cheap to me. How well is it made? Is it possible to replace it with a MM trem?

The electronics out of the way is a very good point! When I got my EBMM JP7, I knew I would never play a guitar with the knobs close to the bridge. My technique is quite sophisticated (read: not punk-rough), but those knobs can be a pain in the ass.

Anyway, happy new guitar day! Those customer pics always look way better than the promo shots

I've had my green JP70 for about a week now and my JP100 (same trem) for over a year. After tons of recording abuse, live shows, and 100's of hours of practice... they are both holding up incredibly well.

I much prefer the trem on these to my FR trem on one of my other guitars... part of the reason why I felt the need to block that one off.

HNGD man. One question, is the tremelo able to drop tune without throwing the other strings out of pitch like the floyd rose? Or is it more of a fender style trem?
