I recently traded a fellow forum member for this beauty. I've been in the process of moving for the last week, so I haven't had time to take decent pics until today. Pron:

The back of the neck has been sanded down to a matte finish, which I'm really digging! Playing runs that go from one end of the neck to the other is much easier than on any of my other guitars with a finished neck.

I'm going to swap the pickups out, though, because I find them way too bassy, especially the bridge. I'm probably going to put in a CL/LF combo, which is what I have in my tele, and love the way they sound. Also on the list is a set of Loxx straplocks, (hopefully) a new neoprene comfort strap, and possibly different colored pickup rings.

Another note I thought was weird is that this guitar doesn't have a coil tap. I don't know if thats a mod the previous owner did, or something PRS did on the small run of black guitars they did, but that was a slight disappointment. I'll probably change out the electronics anyway, to fit my personal preference of having only a volume knob located where the tone knob is, now.

Overall, I'm super psyched on this guitar, and I can't wait to start using it in a band context.

I am very curious how these feel since I am usually an Ibanez player. Anyways, congrats on the guitar!

if you think those pick ups are too bassy don't go with a Crunch Lab. i thought that pick up was good enough for a paper weight but that's it. soft, mushy and lacks articulation. not a fan at all. i don't think it stayed in my JP12 for longer than a month, it HAD to go.

just put EMTY Blackouts in my SE 7 and love them!

welcome to club haha, they're nice playing guitars!

I would replace that cream pickups rings for a black ones, the guitar would look heavier ! but it's just my opinion xD

    HNGD ! It's beautiful ! Enjoy it !

The neck is surprisingly similar to the neck on my S7320. A little bit more meat to it, but not nearly as far off as I expected
