You know you're onto a winner when it makes the Tremonti look cheap.
Cool top man!
DAYUM. That's beautiful.
Have yourself a happy NGD!
What does "custom built for usa only" on the back of the headstock mean? They refuse to take international orders? Seems like a weird policy and an even weirder thing to put on a headstock.
most of the time it’s a wood thing or an inlay thing. Some countries won’t take mammoth ivory or braz boards without a hell of a lot of hassle.
Pretty much this.
In the case of this guitar, it has a Braz board and that was not allowed to leave the US because of CITES iirc.
I've seen a couple in Canada (one came up today), not sure how they got around it. The one today is an SC594 with braz board and maple neck, but will only trade for a post-2013 R9. There's 1 of those for sale used for $8500, and a new one is $7800+tx.
purple is my favorite, happy ngd!
Not me looking at used WL's on reverb that are Canada-friendly thanks to this thread and having my huber listed .
hell yeah! I've been going back and forth between my PRS and I'm really digging the pattern thin shape. I still have a 594 in my aim for the future, but I'm so happy with this one.
HNGD! That purple looks really nice. Here's a celebratory meme for you to enjoy:
That's awesome looking!
That said, the "wood library" always rubs me the wrong way. Do they have shelves arranged by the Dewey decimal system with chunks of wood on them?
The color is superb! HNGD
These PRSi have such amazing tone.
I know a guy who's a really talented woodworker, makes stairs tables cabinets and such. He's got a pretty extensive wood library, which is noteworthy in the interior of AK, but literally any time him or his wood library are brought up it's always to a backdrop of "huhuhuhuh wood library."
I don't think he uses the dewey decimal system either, haha, hence skwisgar.
