Finally got my hands on my all time guitar dream: a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24. At first, I had an order placed on a Faded Whale Blue model, but that one was delayed for months and months until I saw this popped up on the dealer's in stock list. Cherry Charcoal Burst (a finish you can't get on a production PRS, and as far as I know, only available on artist packages/wood library/private stock models) and not only that, but also an Ebony board which is completely sick and feels SO much nicer than Rosewood. The top is killer and the finish is just mesmerizing. It also plays like a million bucks. I have never laid my hands on a guitar that sounds and plays so well at the same time. I thought the 85/15s would be a bit too classic to my taste but they actually destroy the Fishman Fluences I have in my ESP Horizon.
