This is one is special. I picked this up as a gift to myself for working my ass off over the last year. I originally intended to spec out a Private Stock but found this from a PRS Signature dealer. It is almost exactly what I was going to spec in my PS build. It felt like fate so I snatched it up! Specs:
    - Custom 24-08
    - Satin Angry Larry Finish
    - Quilted Maple Top
    - Swamp Ash Body
    - Ebony Fretboard and Headstock Veneer
    - Old-school Paua Bird Inlays
    - Flamed Maple Neck in Same Finish as Body
    - Smoked Black Hardware
    - 85/15 Pickups

The Angry Larry finish is pretty nuts. It appears as both red and purple depending on the lighting and angle. The guitar sounds just as great as it looks. It sustains like mad and is easily the most resonate of all my guitars. I couldn't be happier with it.

    Very nice, congrats!
Don't get the part about the black hardware, though - to me it looks standard chrome/nickel?

Love my 24-08. The most resonant guitar I’ve ever owned. Congrats and HNGD!

Its called "Smoked Black" hardware. Its a little harder to tell on the bridge but the tuners are very apparent. Its a glossy grey/black. The bridge is only a little darker than the standard nickel. Ill try and post some side by sides with my other custom 24 when I get home.

I am a little bit jelly here...

I will just have to suffer and live with my P24 Blood Orange quilt and my CE24 for a while longer. :D

Sorry to crash the party, but isn't a wood library top supposed to look more...... ehrm... spectacular?

The quilt changes depending on the angle you look at it from. Here's a different angle that I had saved on my phone:

Looks awesome to me. Especially in person. Perhaps... ehrm... your PRS guitars look better?

I uploaded some photos of the hardware. Again, the bridge difference is a little harder to discern from the photos. Its subtle in person as well. The tuners and the poles on the pickups are where you can see the difference.

Thanks, on the tuners it is quite noticeable and looks awesome! On the bridge I can barely see a difference... Do the colors of tuners and bridge match?

I mean... Quilts, especially satins are hard to judge in pictures. But regardless, for me it would be deserving of that title even if only for that NECK.

The Neck is love. Seriously the most comfortable neck that Ive played on. I don't think Ill buy another non-satin guitar after this. If things go as planned this year, I may end up picking up a single cut private stock as well with similar specs.

The other if looks better and of course, high gloss usually makes figured tops pop more. I also had a misunderstanding of the wood library concept, just read how it works on the PRS website.
