Hey folks! just got this earlier this week, Jackson DK2M Dinky Pro, and my 1st Jackson. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at how fun this guitar is to play. It's definitely a thrash MACHINE!

Not sure what year it is exactly, but I know it's probably a few years old since the DK2M's available new now come with a matching headstock and offset dots. I like this one more, anyway.

Alder body, bolt-on neck, original Duncans were swapped to dual EMG 81's. The licensed Floyd-Rose is nicer than I expected too, not as well as an OFR, but still works very well. I haven't had any issues with it, even after re-stringing and a setup, stays in tune well and handles whatever I throw at it.

As a first Jackson I think I made a great choice with this one. Couldn't be happier

The sun isn't out so the pics won't do it justice, better ones to follow.
There aren't really any marks on it either, mostly just reflections.

    I always liked this design.

I own one of these. They are easily the best guitar in that price range. Happy shredding :mf666:

Great bang for your buck guitars.

Always love the black with Maple neck, looks so classy yet sinister.

    Congrats

I just got a DK2M in white as well recently. Sweet guitars!

With regard to the JT580LP, I've got the same trem on another guitar of mine and it's never given me any problems. No need to fix what isn't broken!

nice, I'm already starting to browse white DK2's haha. I agree for sure man, it's a solid little axe and the trem is a delight. also, the DK7M/Q models coming out in the near future will be quite hard to resist.

Great entry into the Bloodline, the old DK2Ms are some of the best bang for your buck superstrats around.

I have been searching for a long time for one of these, especially in black. Who'd have thought a black guitar would be so hard to come by.

Congrats, one of the best guitars ever. A Jackson from Japan can only lead to complete happiness.
