Hey all, haven't been on here in a while, actually haven't had a guitar for a few months, just didn't have time, kids are hard. But anyways, I'll try to keep it short. The first guitar I ever owned was a Squier strat that my dad gave me when I was 12 or so, i'm 27 now. I haven't had a Fender/Squier since then, but saw this on one of my bored Reverb browsing sessions for $300, did some research, and decided to pull the trigger. Grabbed a CL/LF combo to throw in, and it sounds absolutely monstrous. I'm blown away, its everything I wanted. 2002 Squier Stagemaster in a really cool shade of teal, tuned in Drop A, metal AF!!!!
I'd rock that! Happy NGD. With the recent growth in popularity of super-strats that aren't pointy, I think this fits right in with all the cool ones. Honestly, I'd love to see a modern American Fender super-strat or super-tele someday. Aww shit you're in Milwaukee too?! Bay View here.
Happy NGD, I love this particular era of Squire guitars (I own the baritone version of this strat) as they were a nice blend of Fender and Jackson elements.
