Well with the knowledgeable folks here that might not last for too long but I wonder if you guys can guess what guitar I just got in :) ?

Aside from awesome - which it is at least for sure.

    --------

Since the suspense didn't last long, here it is:
    *Edwards E-MV-135QM Limited Edition
    *Alder Body
    *Quilt Top
    *Ebony board
    *3-piece Maple neck
    *Floyd Rose
    *HS Seymour Duncan
    *24.7" scale!

This is the spiritual successor to the ESP H-S Maverick of the early 90s... Except this one makes full use of the H-S configuration to bring in 27 frets. 25'5 scale is becoming difficult for me, so that guitar in Gibby scale is a godsend.

I really want to record a clip in the next few days, because this thing sings like crazy.

Those Edwards man...one of the best bangs for the buck out there!

Yup... and wow are you fast... Only 10 minutes!

This is actually a limited edition with a quilt top - but otherwise same specs as the E-MV-125, eg 3-piece neck, ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose, Seymour Duncan HS and obviously the 27 frets.

    It's also short (24"7) scale!
    Amazing shredder :shred:

LoL, well I was seriously considering getting one of these a while back so I'm already pretty familiar with them. Might still have to snag one in the future.

This is the second time I've seen you post a new Edwards guitar...where do you get them from? Are you importing them from a dealer abroad or is there somewhere in the states that is bringing them in?

    Very cool guitar too!

Well as far as I'm concerned, you should.
Not a bad thing to say about it in my end! This guitar is perfect :hbang:

I have a buddy in Japan who sometimes helps me out, but a good number of dealers in Japan are also more than willing to ship to the US.

The crazy thing for me since I'm on the West Coast is that it's literally faster to get an Edwards from Tokyo through EMS (4 days) than it is to get a guitar from the East Coast through Fedex or UPS ground
