More NGD posts need back pics. I love Mayones' use of neck woods and neck joints (or lack thereof in their Regius models).

i really want to try the Hannes as well, but i get equally scathing feedback as i do sterling feedback. seems like you either love or hate it apparently. A friend said he wasnt a bvig fan of them because he feels they isolate the strings from each other? which granted, might not be awesome for some styles, but for what i do, having them completely independant wouldnt be a bad thing. you kind of want that clarity down in F#

That top is truly stunning, what a gorgeous instrument! I'm not usually a fan of gold hardware, but it works.

I currently have two Duvells - one with a hipshot bridge, one with a Hannes. I prefer the Hannes, but really only due to the aesthetics and the feel of it under my palm. (It’s very comfy!) Under high gain, I find that any sonic differences are essentially impossible for most people to hear, regardless of how they sound acoustically.

Man I love my Duvell, but seeing some of these custom shops elites, feels like a worlds apart instrument even though it's same damn company haha, amazing.

That's what I meant by "lack thereof" (neck joints) in my post. They have a really gorgeous carve that fits the hand well.

People just think too much. It's just a simple, very comfortable, low profile and cool looking fixed bridge. The best thing about it is the low profile and comfort. If you don't need a trem, try one out, I love the one on my Duvell.
