I've been meaning to save up for an axe fx iii and this is like the fourth time that I've impulse-bought a guitar instead. An Mayones MBC has been on my want list for years now and I finally managed to get a good deal on one. It's everything I could've wanted. I've owned quite a few mayos in the past and this one tops the list. Hopefully, I can finally buy an axe fx uninterrupted now.

Nazgul Sentient set. It's the stock set in a lot of Mayoneses.

This has happened to me last few times I've decided to get an Axe...a new guitar comes up and I'm like "hmmm thats alot less scary then programming some new kit, I know how to play a guitar"

HNGD Always wanted an MBC Buckeye! I have 2 Mayo's myself atm (Buckeye Regius with Aftermaths and a Qatsi 7 Baritone), but I always seem to be gassing for another.

For you guys that played "regular" Mayones guitars vs the MBC, do you feel a big difference in playability or anything that makes the guitar easier to play? Or is it just the aesthetics? I have a Duvell Elite 7 because I didn't want to go that high of a price tag on the MBC just for the fancy finish factor.

I've had four Duvells (still have three). The MBCs are definitely built better than the regular production models. Everything just feels better. The neck shape/profile, the fretboard, the fret ends, etc. Not that the "regular" Duvells are bad (they're not, they're great). But the MBCs I have are a cut above in the fit/finish department. And they do sound and play better to me. I had a Duvell Elite, Duvel Koa Limited, and two MBCs. Sold the Elite. Still have the Koa, which plays well. But the MBCs are my go to.

I’ve had a couple of each. The biggest differences were aesthetics. In terms of workmanship and attention to detail, a “standard” Duvell Elite is already about as high-end an instrument as money can buy.
