Marco Di Profio is the luthier at Markline. I can't say enough good things about him and his work. Excellent communications, accurate completion timelines, very professional, builds to your request and design, pictures during build process and updates, fair shipping cost and well packaged.
All around nice guy with great skills. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy.
    Find him on Facebook.
The Sophia tremolo is amazing. Very cool and patented design offering nice improvements over standard floating trems.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will try my best to answer.
I hope you enjoy and reach out to Marco.

Are the tuners on the bridge only fine tuners?

May I ask how much you paid?I've heard Markline offers very affordable custom price, and how long the whole building process take?

The bridge tuners are fine tuners with a 60:1 ratio. You can load strings through with ball end or cut off ball end. Locking system either way.

Build time is approx. 2 months. Cost around $2500 USD, but Marco will make you a specific quote for your specs.

Seen a couple Markline NGDs pop up on this forum now, can't say any of them were unimpressive. They look like pretty sweet builds- and the price/wait numbers sound great too.
I'd definitely wait for a while before I personally would be comfortable putting an order in, but I'm loving his work so far. That thing looks sick. HNGD man!

    Photos don't show.
Does this luthier have a website outside Facebook? I hope so as Facebook content is not accessible to those not signed up.

Anyway i found the guitar on Facebook, the bridge appears to be a headless hardware tremolo bridge, but acting here like a headed trem with fine tuners, interesting to have tuners at both ends of the strings.

That looks great and I love the color on the top! If that bridge can have strings loaded without worrying about the ball ends then that solves one of the IMO more annoying aspects of Floyd roses.

    Very cool instrument!

Yup, you can load with the ball through the back of the tuners OR you can cut off the ball and load from front and lock down. Both methods can be (should be) locked down.

Imgr does not allow linking to websites with a for sale section. So they kill links after like 30 minutes when their system catches it.
