So, as I said on "why are you happy"-thread, I've got a new guitar (which I haven't even played yet, because of my finger that got hurt the day I got this fiddle). Everyones seen at least one of these and I won't bore you to death with specs and stuff that everyone knows already. So here's a couple of shitty pics (courtesy of my galaxy note2):

Man, I love those guitars. I've got it's half-twin... an LTD H-1001 in the same color. The MH-1000s I've played all felt really similar to mine. HNGD!

If you decide to switch the pickups, I gotta say the SD Custom 5 works really nicely in these guitars.

Yeah, we all know who's the real star of this ngd-post..

Now I just have to wait for my finger to heal properly, so I can test this guitar out and make all the necessary adjustments. The shop did a setup, but it will need the final touches to "make it mine". Not sure about that duncan jb though, I've never been too fond of JB's. Might have to swap it to evo2 or something. Loved evo2 on my rg3120.

Yeah. I've had a couple of 'em before. First one was M-1000 with emg's (swapped pups to steve morse models and later sold it) and the other one was ec-1000 with emg's (swapped pups to steve morse models and later sold it... see a pattern here?)

Regretted selling the M, it was such a great sounding guitar. Eclipse not so much, it made me realize I don't get on with les paul-style guitars. Maybe this one is a keeper :)

Yeah, the lava red looks quite nice. This guitar has freakishly much abalone, but I don't even mind it. My ec-1000 did have it too and my m-1000 almost as much. Now I only wish I would get to play this freaking thing already. Had it since friday morning and haven't still played at all. Well, maybe in a couple of days.

Very cool. One of the best MIK guitars imho.
Those are very underrated and punch way
    above their weight.

I own one of these myself. Only it's the early black model without the abalone. I got it cheap, and it's one of the best guitars I have ever played! Really worth the money. 300 used, including import taxes and shipping.

    I don't think I've ever seen a black-non-abalone-version of mh-1000. Got pics?

I could post some! :) But it's pretty beat up! I bought it used when I used to live in England. It was basically my only guitar for some time. So it's not exactly in very good condition!
