This came in today. These are made in both Korea and Indonesia from what I gathered. This one is Korean and it is of exceptional quality. I truly am blown away, I was not expecting this level of craftsmanship. I have always had the luxury of owning ESP Standards but this LTD is at the very minimum equal in quality with those guitars. The fretboard and the stainless steel fret work reminds me of my old Mayones. Very happy with my decision to buy this, as I assume anyone would be. Enjoy the pictures!

    Beauty!

The last handful of Artist and 1000 series instruments I've played from LTD in the last couple years have been disturbingly close in feel/build-quality to the E-II range. ESP is killing it with their high-end LTD's for a long time, but now I think they're better than they've ever been.

Looks awesome. Logo looks cool, but I’m not sure about it being a raised badge

I was not sure about that either when I bought it, but once it was in my hands it looked really good to me. It would not look right to me with a regular logo now.

The neck is great man, it is just right, I believe I saw in the specs it is called extra thin u. It has a rounded shape to it like a C, its just perfect to be honest. High fret access is better in my opinion when compared to a stratocaster shape, the V shape exposes more of the high frets.

Also another exciting thing for me with the neck is the paint job. The paint job is satin and it is silky, I noticed looking closer at the guitar that I can see the wood grain just barely underneath. So to me it feels like a really thin paint job and I think over time the neck will lose some of the paint and just get even silkier with time.

The frets are basically perfect. The tuning and intonation is perfect too, this all out of the box. Low action with no buzzing. First guitsr I buy that I feel absolutely no need to tweak a single thing. Mind you this was all unexpected for me, I ended selling all my ESP guitars to try to save for like maybe a Custom. I always wanted a V and when this popped up the timing was perfect for me. This guitar has changed my opinion on gear and is making me a better musician. I kinda now am into cheap but really high quality guitars because it feels so good to open the box and feel blown away by how nice the guitar is but it was so cheap, (compared to the kind of money im always spending on ESP). I am in love with LTD now and I intend to get more. Im also still learning barely climbing out of beginner and owning an LTD makes me feel good about my playing, this thing sounds mean man it is top notch. My only last kind of dumb worry was I really wanted Korean and not Indo, I have no clue if it matters or not but for what its worth I did get lucky and mine is Korean and the fret work looks like it came from the ESP USA shop or something, its just super well done, perfect basically. Good Luck man glad I could share this with everyone.

    Thanks for the info
And...I had the same kind of epiphany with budget guitars after I purchased a Squier Starcaster
I was waiting to save some money to buy an ESP or at least an E-II, but after my experience and your enthusiasm I think I can settle with an LTD (I want a Petroza, non exactly a Arrow, but very close)

If they made a double arrow (aka Petroza) in the candy red and not Fishmans... :yum:

I had to deal that a guitar with all the specs that I like won't ever be released
If the shape is ok, the colour is wrong, if the fretboard material is ok, the inlay sucks, if it has a Floyd, it has active pups...and so on...
My favourite colour is cobalt blue, I have ZERO blue guitars...
I had to deal with it, and not in a cool way

I'm definitely not one for the more 'out there' shapes, but goddamn dude this thing is vibe and a half for sure.
Especially with the lack of fretboard inlays, just looks so clean.

I'm with @dr_game0ver though- needs some chrome hardware!
    HNGD dude!
