That is beautiful. Congrats!
Shut up, While I administer some Deeds Of Flesh
yeah I kind of knew I was wrong the whole time
The bottom pic looks amazing. Love the body shape if only he would come up with a better headstock I would be frothing at the mouth!
plz huge photos!!!
that guitar is AWESOME
Nice review man! Now, make with the pics.
looks great, pure and clean
You take the award for best KxK on the site, that mahogany is incredible
That's the nicest KxK i've seen. Seeing those two for sale in the Classifieds gave me serious GAS. I'm with you on the active pickups. Having tried out the EMG-equipped Intrepid for a few days, i think i just prefer the more "open" sound of passive pickups.
One thing i've also learned from the Intrepid experience is that i LOVE the sound and feel of extended-scale instruments. There just seems to be so much more energy in the strings.
I'm dying to try a guitar with a mahogany neck now.
I gotta say aside from the stellar construction, my favorite two features are the scale and the Mahogany neck on this one. There is such a pleasant "honkyness" that only a Mahogany neck can create. I think you would really dig this guitar, Darren, based on what you are saying. I'll get some good photos tonight. I just need to get some new lightbulbs in the hallway light fixture. The flash just doesnt do this guitar justice from a grain perspective and the odds of me putting the guitar down and getting a ladder out to pull dead lightbulbs last night werent too good hehe.
I'm torn between getting some passive Duncans in it, or just going BK. I'd probably wanna give the JB7/rewind thing a shot based on how Dave praises his rewound JB7.
Moar photos added....
that looks killer!
I bet a run of these in a 25.5 scale would make a few people around here very happy campers
Congrats man, that must be an interesting contrast to the Kamikaze-7
congratulations, u own the nicest Kxk around! definitely the best by a mile
Wow, coolest guitar ever? ... very possible
That battery compartment looks massive...freaking massive.
Holy! that is freaking HAWT!!!
Nice. the wooden floors make the guitar so exotic.
Beautiful guitar - congrats and enjoy!!
