NGD Jackson Jeff Loomis SL7

I kept hearing about this , wanted to try it out.
It’s my first Jackson as well as 7 with a 26.5 fretboard radius , so far it doesn’t feel very different than my 25.5 7s and 6 strings . Perhaps I’ll keep it ! Don’t know if I like the Seymour black outs as I’ve already contemplated changing them . Cheers

Yeah I can feel that 27" is a bit longer than I'd like but for some reason 26.5" is not an issue for me.

I also feel the same about 27 vs 26.5, not sure why. Half an inch clearly makes a big difference..

Nice, congrats on the guitar... now allow me a 2 questions:
1 - I've never heard of 26.5 fretboard radius, with this values it's more on the scale length...
2 - why is that the post is of a NGD, but 66% of the pictures are of its packaging? WE WANT GOOD HIGH RES PICTURES OF ALL DETAILS... no pressure

Looks good, I'm very nervous of Jackson pro series after mine though.

I don't notice 26.5 that much unless I keep switching between guitars a bunch. Also my other guitarist makes super stretchy riffs

I thought the same as well but so far the quality seems to be excellent , to my surprise ! It has a better feel than my relatively new Majesty 7 . Its ease of playability is outstanding imho

Further evidence that it matters more which country/factory is making things than which product line it's in.

These are made in Korea at WMI, I believe. Great quality stuff there, I think we all can agree. The dinkys made in Mexico by Fender are also solid. The soloists from Indonesia though have been less than impressive.

I'll make a NGD post eventually. Enjoy! Play some Nevermore on this!

I have enough superstrats but these look killer. Korean Jacksons are getting rave reviews and the price is not so stupid as Ltd current offerings.

I'd be more inclined to get a MIK Jackson for sure. Everything I've gotten from Indonesia has been crap

How's the forearm contour on these? Broad and 'horizontal' like a RG/Luke/Suhr Modern or narrow and more 'vertical' like a Fender Strat/older Caparison/older ESP KH2 where you miss the contour completely unless you strap the guitar right under your nose? This is literally the one thing that's keeping me from getting one...
