This maple neck is SO good!!!

Traded a beloved Charvel for this guy and don't regret it for a second (although I'll miss her...)

Yanked out the white Seymour Duncans and put in the EMG 57tw/66tw set. The 66 isn't wired in yet because I need another cable or two, but the 57tw is a great pickup. Hot as hell, not quite as 'full' as the regular 57 (analogous to the difference between the 85 and 89) but still awesome.

Made in Indonesia, matching headstock, hardtail, light as a feather, and the neck is as thin as a Reservoir Dog tie... everything I've been looking for for a while...

A quick vid, more for the looks, than the playing as I was midway into my first cup of coffee...

    Enjoy the pics!!!!!

I had one in... amber? or maybe it was natural... and it was an AMAZING guitar, sounded glorious and the neck joint is fantastic... sadly I didn't gel with the neck shape, but light, resonant, the bridge is comfortable and every knob is in the right place.

And looks AMAZING, specially yours in fuchsia!

    HNGD!

Thanks! Yeah, the neck shape is more like a "D" than my "C" shaped Charvels... but it's super thin...

    I'm digging it so far!

Very nice, congrats! I had a DK2 in Chlorine Burst a while back - mine had a pair of Duncan Distortions in it, it sounded massive :)

Oh, I know! It was an old set I threw on to install the pickups. I was taking them on and off a lot. I normally give them a trim.

Would love to see more of these guys!

Two more because I can't get enough... love that the bridge pickup is a tad further away from the bridge... gives it a 'quack' or 'spank' similar to some Jake E. Lee stuff... I wouldn't dream of comparing the playing (he's one of my all time favorites up there with Rhoads, Lynch, Demartini, etc...).

Enjoy these and post a pic or three if you have this model as I'd love to see more (even if it's in different colors).

    Enjoy!

Ugh... I can't keep my hands off!

Another tune just as an excuse to keep playing...

    Enjoy!

These purple/pink trans finishes have been growing on me lately. Love anything with a maple board!
