Brother, that is awesome. 29.5?! That's gotta feel huge. Is that an extra cutaway bevel on the lower horn or just the camera angle?

So sick. Great specs and a beautiful guitar!

Even the middle position inner-coil split is exactly what i like.

Very cool and different than any other Jackson custom I've seen! Cool to see a 29.5 scale 7 string as well. Congrats and thanks for sharing man!

Yeah it’s got a cutaway on the top & rear of the bottom horn for fret access. Surprisingly the guitar doesn’t feel that crazy to play, I can stretch across the frets just fine. Because the bridge is so far back the guitar is only slightly bigger than my 27” baritones

Coolest thing about the way I have my guitars wired is the dual volumes. On the middle position you can roll back the neck volume and you get the inner coil of the bridge only, so really there’s 4 voicings

Bro! Why have i never thought of that? I’m might copy this setup for my Warmoth build.

Also since i have your attention, have you ever tried a ceramic version of your BKP Impulse?

Yeah while we were prototyping the pickup however the A5 version was much nicer. It’s still tighter than just about any other BKP due to the unique construction of the pickup.

I’ve never even fathomed a 7 string with that scale length. It looks awesome. I think I still like the shape of the blue one you posted about the other day slightly more, though! But the stealth fighter look of this is so clean.

Reminds me of the 30" "Doom" Soloists they did years back (although those were 6s). I was so close to buying one when they got super cheap but realized I had no use for one and don't like anything over 25.5" anyway. But they sure were cool.
