NGD: Ibanez RG850

This started out as a NOS White RG8 body and a NOS White RGA8 neck. It was swimming pool routed to get rid of the big soapbar pickup holes and to use a pickguard. It has Lungren M8's and a Dimarzio Ionizer single wired to the TAM100 wire schematic. My guitar tech also fabricated a brass stud reinforcement bar like older Kramers had because he was concerned the basswood would rip out over time.

Yes he did. Because it was a replacement part neck the frets were just pressed in and had whatever seasonal changes happened since 2012. The ends needed to be filed and overall polish done and he did some significant edge rolling because the fret board edge was pretty sharp. I believe this neck was in a complete pre-QA state because the back is matte and relatively unfinished with just a sealer (feels like a J Custom). I have another RGA8 neck from 2010 and it has a pretty thick poly coat on it.

Badass guitar man. Floyd should include those reinforcement hinge plates with ALL their trems to be honest, as that would mitigate any issues with body materials or awkward installs... You have a very good tech
