Cool amp, but the real story is that the manager is doing a helluva good job. That is really awesome he knows his customers that way, and thinks about you in situations like this.
Yeh man! Unfortunately he just moved to Boise Idaho. So if anyone out there wants to meet up with a good dude ask for Aaron. He starts there soon, covered in tattoos, probably can't miss him haha
COnsidering that this is a limited edition head that originally went for $2000, and original JCM900s are starting to rise into the $700 area, you got a damn good deal there.
yeh, i know if i ever decide to sell it for some unforeseen reason i would def start above $700 asking price. i actually intended to get another 7 string with the money spent on this
I own a 900 from the 90s. Great amps with a boost in front and a new in the loop. Hnad!
Dude. I'm a 900 owner and I wish it could've scored that white JCM! It just looks awesome. They do have that fizzy high hiss sparkle to them. Jumped loop, presence down, bass up and boosted a tad. They're crazy br00tz. I'm very versatile with mine. I was able to score a completely mint '90 JCM 900 with all new tubes for $475. The guy just bought a Plexi and had a dual rec and he said he didn't need this anymore. I was fine at $475
Congrats. A great amp made super classy in white.
What a cool collectible piece! Nice work!
many thanks! and yeh, i run the presence around 4, have to max the gain though, scoop the mids a bit (set to 3ish), run my BBE through it and it's pretty awesome sounding! just doesn't blend well at all with my other guitar player's ENGL Special Edition, that's what my Rockerverb's job is haha
Thats awesome. I always liked the White Marshall's like that. And its a 900 so thats cool too. Congratulations man
I dont even like Marshalls and im jeallous (nothing to do with their sound). Nice find, sounds like you have a good connection at the GC.
