I just shipped out my E-II M-II, and THIS is the one I want (even better if white).

I'm envious - mad props!

I don't think I had seen the E-II version, but there's definitely something lost just by switching away from the maple board; I've only seen a couple of the white version, I'm sure they're rare as hen's teeth, and especially now that Romeo has his Capa model based off that.

I somehow went from zero maple fretboard guitars to half my stable being them

It's been a hot minute since I've played either honestly, all my current guitars are either stock passives or EMG loaded, but I know traditionally the Jazz is the one I've liked the sound of more. I'm a Duncan man through and through but the temptation to switch them out for the X2N/TZ combo is definitely there as well.

I don't mind the Jazz... it's growing on me since the KV I just got also had one. It's a little more scooped sounding for sure though.
