Hello there. Not long ago I got this amazing explorer

    Specs:
    BODY Mahogany
    NECK Mahogany
    FINGERBOARD Rosewood, 22frets
    RADIUS 305R
    SCALE 628mm
    NUT Bone (42mm)
    INLAY Pearl Dot
    JOINT Set-neck
    TUNER GOTOH SG360-07
    BRIDGE GOTOH GE103B & GE101Z
PICKUPS Seymour Duncan SH-2 (Jazz Neck) / Seymour Duncan SH-6 (Duncan Distortion)
    PARTS COLOR Black Nickel

Well the stock EMGs were changed to SD pickups. The clean sound became more interesting and saturated. Though I faced some troubles with the bridge pickup. It has too much gain for me, guess because I got used to high gain amps through years. That is why I'm not sure that everyone will like the sound on the video :)
Anyways the guitar has got great play-ability, very comfortable neck.
It is my 1st explorer, and I'm pretty much satisfied and happy with this guitar form factor.

Nice, happy NGD! That's the exact Explorer that I want. It's so manly. :yesway: Nice playing too.

Maybe try a Duncan SH-5 Custom in the bridge, it will be a bit more toned down than the Distortion in output but still have plenty of balls and tightness.

Thanks! it cost me like 600$ mainly because of the guitar body dings and attritions, not sure if the last word is right to describe it :)
I think that this gutar costs about 800$ in good mint condition

I've got sh-5 on my 7 string guitar, and i love its tone :)
Well, guess I'll try to switch back to emgs or blackouts, just to find out how this guitar sounds in the factory equiped settings.
