My favorite Alexi model EVER! Had a custom one of these built by a friend...that custom doesn't hold a drop of water compared to this one. Since they stopped producing these, I've been on the lookout for one, and a few popped up on eBay recently. I think I'll get a Pinky next, and eventually another black w/white pinstripe sawtooth, but I'm happy for now; a total riff-monster and now I can be a true fanboy and do all the Children of Bodom and Sinergy covers I want (it's an OCD thing...) Thanks for looking! And I'll do a proper "model" shoot later this week :hbang:

Man that's really neat build quality! Love it.
How does it play? How do you like the sound?

Awesome! I played an Edwards pink alexi model once and was impressed with the quality. Speaking of, I should add the blacky model to my guitar searches :)

Sweet! I googled it a bit, looks like there's basically 2 versions; the E-AL-128 and the E-AL-166, both come in different finishes... Any real difference between them except the name?

Sorry for stealing the thread for these questions OP haha but you ignited my GAS

Man.. HNGD. Never been a CoB fan in the least but I always thought it was a sick looking guitar. Pretty jealous!

128 is the original version (128k yen price) 166 is the new version with deep cutaway and scalloped frets. I used to have the Edwards Arrowhead. Easily as good as ESP/EII standard series. My cousin has the Sawtooth and an ESP CS Arrowhead.

Awesome guitar man! I've been aiming for one for a while to compare it to my RR24.

It honestly plays amazing! Feels as good as the Caparison Horus I had not too long ago. I just really love the simplicity of the guitar but the Arrowhead model has always been dear to me. I love the tone it puts out as well; as metal as it gets in my opinion! I just got his MM-04 pre-amp booster today which I'll install soon :D

Those are sick guitars too! Only gripe is the painted neck. I had two of those in the past and I think they are just as nice when you fix them up and do the hardware swap like you did. Just wish the neck wasn't painted.

Thanks for the love y'all! Compared to the two Sawtooths I had (all -120 models), this one is really built well. I'm almost considering picking up an actual ESP model (Japanese) and seeing if there is a real difference.
