Got a job cooking and catering the largest venue in my state in a lead position.
Got this to celebrate. Not much to say, had da monies cause of my gamestop freelo this year and yolo'ed into this guitar.

    Congrats on the position!

The top on the guitar is so sick. How does the pickups sound?

excellent, another smooth brained person that's into compounding dumb decisions. (I dont mean this as an insult)
I spent mine on an RGD7UC.

I like the satin finish on your axe!

Awesome, dude. Poplar burl is polarizing for me as they sometimes look awesome and sometimes look (literally) like vomit. This one is clearly in the awesome camp.

I am a huge EBMM fan boy, and I totally dig the specs on these. How are the pickups? Are they active or is it just a buffered output like on Petrucci models? Is there a boost? I realize I could google these things, but I am looking to hear how the pickups are as I do not know anyone who owns one of these.

What a sleek guitar! I'm seeing faces in the lower pattern of the burl, kind of like The Scream.

One of the nicer tops I've seen on that model. Looks like it's an alien planet's surface. Killer.

What's with the springs in the back cavity? Is that a camera trick, or the whole trem is really offset to one side?

They're passive, but with an onboard push push boost and coil split. However, there is little details available on how they sound, as they are EBMM pickups. Curious to hear how they compare to other high gain pups like Duncans and etc.

I haven’t been able to find any of these in the wild, they seem to be flying off any shelves they make it to. So curious to find out how they play.

congrats on the new gig and the ability to (barely) overcome justification
