So I didn't need another guitar, but I was cruising around on eBay a few weeks back and saw this LTD H-207 sitting at $140 with an hour left. So I waited it out, bid $150 at the last minute and here we are. I think this was a pretty decent score at $150, especially since it included a PRS gig bag, Dimarzio Cliplock strap and Mogami cable.

I did a quick setup this morning, and the guitar plays great and sounds...meh. I've got a Duncan Jazz/Custom pickup set en route, once they get here this will be off to my buddy Eric Granroth at PRS for a full setup and some cool wiring options.

I'm not 100% sure yet. I usually sit down with Eric beforehand and we discuss what options are possible, which ones I want, and then how to do it without drilling 50 holes in the guitar. I always add a blow switch, and I think on this one I'll add series/parallel and out of phase via push/pull pots.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a Navarro SE. I changed the knobs out to USA PRS knobs and changed the tuner buttons with some pearl ones from eBay. I've got a set of Dragon I pickups that I'm getting ready to put in as well. It's an amazing guitar for the price.

Damn it! These rarely go under $600 here in Aus, that's if they even go up for sale.

Hopefully the meh sound is due to something bad in the electronics and that pu change does it wonders.

The electronics are okay, it's just that the Duncan Design pickups are nothing special.

Great catch man! This is one of the best mid range 7's you can get and I love my red one dearly. I currently have a SD Black Winter in mine and it fits the guitar very well. Highly recommended pickup.
