Amazing concept and wonderful result, big big congratulations
I guess I'm not seeing it, but what's wrong with XIX?
sorry mate, but yours is IXX that is wrong !
I feel bad now, don't want to be a dick, that guitar is so stunning
Imagine the inlays have been made by an ancient roman in wich case IXX instead of XIX can be considered as accurate...
imho it is not an error
HNGD... it's a gem
Holy hell. Don't know what else to say!
Wait, what? I'm interested in learning that - did they used to number differently?
Edit: Well, I'll de damned, you're right. It turns out there is no Latin word translation for XIX. They used XVIIII, which means "nineteen" in Latin translation, or IXX, which means "one from twenty." We developed XIX much later. Which also makes sense, because Dylan simply does not make mistakes. Only foolish mortals, such as ourselves, would assume so.
He's dead right, folks. It's the old school way.
Thanks for the insight in how the top was done. Really phenomenal work.
