I started a WTB thread without much luck under 2K, which was well above the price I was looking to pay.

Anyways, I was searching Reverb and stumbled across this bad boy! I was drinking...so that didn't help at all

I was specifically looking for a 'cockstock' Horizon or H-1000. This one is from 2000 (had all the original paperwork, I forgot to take a pic of that), but it's dead mint! There isn't even any buckle rash. Frets 2 & 3 needed a little steel wool (just mild wear, I wanted to make the frets new), but other then that she is perfect. There isn't any tarnish on the hardware except for the knobs, but they aren't that bad.

I was originally going to replace all the hardware, but after looking it over I realized it was a case queen, so no extra money needed to be spent  I may change the tuners as they are some weird locking Grover ones. They aren't bad, they are just a pain to get strings through as they are like a twist lock...haven't seen anything like these before.

The seller packed the guitar as good as you can IMO, which was awesome...as I'm always scared when buying off the internet...because of poor packing.

This is honestly one of the nicest LTD's I have ever played and I have owned a few over the years. The action was insanely low. The guitar plays itself.

A couple frets need some leveling after the 15th fret, but I rarely venture on that part of the fretboard...so I may just leave them alone.

Other then that there isn't much to say, other then I'm one happy camper!

P.S. I love abalone on these :fawk:
