The only thing that's left of it is the body and neck. Once I figured out that the neck was actually great, I decided to take the plunge to make it worth playing. The frets only needed a small amount of leveling work. The terrible, and I mean TERRIBLE, pickups had to go. A VHII went in the neck, M8 in the bridge. Enlarged the bridge pickup rout a bit to get it closer to the bridge in the process. The tuners are now Hipshot locking, the nut is brass, and the bridge is now a Hipshot. Completely rewired it as well, with a 5 way switch and Dunlop 500k pot. This was my first time making a pickguard, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. She's definitely a player now!
