I seriously don't have much time nowadays to post the NGDs as I used to but I'm going to try and be a little more mindful of that set aside time to photograph the gear I get and post it up haha. Here's pictures of the JPX, review after the pics!

    Review:
So this is the JPX in the limited edition Cardinal Red Sparkle Finish they featured for their PDN dealers not too long ago. It's one of the most photogenic colors I've ever seen and it's absolutely stunning. The X series is my favorite JP in the entire line so this being a JPX put the icing on the cake for me.

This guitar came loaded with a pair of Nailbombs with Gold pole pieces, the NBs are my favorite BKPs and they sound absolutely amazing in this guitar. Really crushing rhythm tone without sounding too offensive or harsh in either the treble or mid spectrums. The low end on the guitar is huge and sticks out wonderfully even with such a tight and bright pickup in the bridge. I'm thinking something else might have suited the neck pickup better, but the neck pickup still sounded great.

Just as well made as the several other EBMMs I've had the privilege of owning. Consistently awesome and well made. Since I've owned so many of these I don't have a long review to contribute but it's still worth mentioning that it was in fact a great guitar. Neck was finished in Satin by the previous owner and I might be doing the same to my JPX7 but for now that feels just fine with the gloss finish on it :D

Hope you liked it! More to come, at least 8 of my guitars haven't had a NGD. I'll bang those out super soon!

    Photos shot with a Sony A7 w/Zeiss 24-70mm f4.

It's hard to beat the JPX stock finish but damn, that's like a Ferrari JPX.

Damn man those gold poles are super classy on that red sparkle! You're giving me ideas for my next guitar. Also, sweet playing! Wes' solo still kills me. Grats!

Not a huge fan of red, but I would rock the hell out of that.

I'm not normally a guy who likes red or gold on anything, but this guitar wears both colors insanely well! HNGD!

My thoughts exactly, the Barolo finish is crazy nice but this is just luxurious haha. That guy in the exchange who almost sold his did right in keeping his

The gold poles I wasn't sold on until I saw it in person, but it is rather nice. If it had EVO frets and gold inlays it would set it off even more haha. And likewise dude, one of my favorite solos ever!

You should totally grab one man! It's a finish any fan of metallic finishes will love. Possibly the brightest finish ever too haha, even with the lights turned off it still grabbed every small bit of light it could and flashed it right back at you :D

    Thanks dude! :D

I have to agree, if I had found the 7 string version I would replace my JPX7 with it haha.

Same man, I like trans red finishes but solid red isn't usually my thing either. Thank you!

Congrats. Looks and sounds killer. I love my emerald green one. I debated grabbing a red one to match.

On a side note, it seems like you're having some interlacing issues on all of the footage taken from camera right. I'm not familiar with the Sony mirrorless cams, but something seems wonky there. I'm not sure if you shot interlaced and forgot set your edit to deinterlace it, or if you shot it progressive and accidentally interlaced the footage upon render.

    Thanks dude :D

Yeah the black hardware IMO is almost a mandatory need for me whenever a sparkle finish is involved that's this reflective it just makes it look sleek!

I know exactly what you mean  it's a bit better now with my newer videos and covers but it's just me having to familiarize myself a bit more with my camera and Adobe Premiere. Thanks brotha! Your collection is gorgeous as well. Try and find one of these Cardinal Red ones.

    Yeah I agree :D

Thanks bro! Glad you liked it :)

    Thanks dude!

Do you know if the bridge pickup has an alnico or ceramic magnet? I love the tone in the video, also really like the Omega cover you put up.
