Is acoustic content allowed here? J/K I'm doing it anyway. Here is my new Seagull s6 burnt umber QIT. I posted asking which out of a few acoustics people would recommend. I decided on the seagull s6 and I don't regret it. I love the wide nut (1.8 in) and the QIT electronics sound great. Not to mention she's purty one.

Pardon the messy desk, I'm a teacher working from home.

I almost bought a Seagull a while back - there's lots of them around here, and most of the ones I've tried played / sounded good.

I was very surprised that it looked that great. It looks much better than in stock photos and videos!

I would get another s6 in a heartbeat. I wanted the black s6 a/e, but they haven't been released through any place that I could do a payment plan with. I have a new found respect for Canadian craftsmenship!

jkjkjk congrats thats awesome. I've always loved Seagulls but never pulled the trigger on one. This might be the tipping point... Happy NGD!

Hah! FWIW I have two 8 strings and one 7 string lol.

Check out the s6 a/e black. I settled on this for money reasons (8 monthly payments is less per month than 6, go figure) but I do not regret it one bit. My only exposure to a good acoustic is a Big Baby Taylor that's made in the US. That Canuck craftsmenship beats it out though.

The BBT used to be USA made until around 06'/07'.

This one is an 05 or 06. Right on that cusp.
    Thanks again Max!

Never heard of the brand. Love the stain on the top, makes it look kind of vintage in your photo. Congrats on the new toy

I had a friend who had one, and I was turned off by the headstock so I never played it. When I learned they were made by Godin, and got the rec from some peeps on here, I decided to try it. I spent a little more on the one with godin brand electronics. Definitely play one if you get the chance. I originally wanted the black s6, but this one does fit the aesthetic I was going for. I've been doing a lot of folky, almost western stuff.

I recorded very rough tracks of Wish You Were Here for y'all to hear the difference between the electronics QIT system and the guitar acoustically. The acoustic track was recorded with a cheap ass Samson GoMic (sounds pretty good imo) through garage band with no eq. The elctric track was recorded through my pod hd500x with some slight bass cut due to not being able to figure out how to keep the bass from booming.

Both quite rough with a couple of mistakes
