I was perusing through the Hard-Off app here in Japan and this white RG7 popped up for roughly $260. It had the highly-revered Lo Pro Edge bridge, but it wasn't labeled as an RG7620 on the site, so I drove 1.5 hours to check it out for myself. I had a Schecter ATX C-8 lying around that I didn't play and I didn't need 2 8-stringers, so I offered a trade. Long story short, I'm pretty sure this is an RG7620 based on the finish and the bridge, and after some further research, it was definitely made in Japan in 1998--and one of the finishes from that time was Pearl White (PL). After the trade, I only paid $25 for it lol. I have always loved the RG7620 and regretted selling the 2 I've had in the past, so this one is a keeper, and with some upgrades, it'll be as good as new. Thanks for looking!

Whoa! Pearl White? Available in Japan only? I don't recall ever seeing that finish on this model. Good score!

I've never heard of that finish either and that it was a refinish someone did, but--not that the Ibanez Wiki is fact--but it has it listed as one of the 7620 finishes. Maybe a limited run? It would have aged well if it weren't for stickers or something that someone had on it.

Haha, I plan on taking a day to get it back into shape. Debating on pickup sets at the moment.

Thanks! And bro, I've seen so many stories on here of members finding these gems mislabeled and highly discounted, so I had to keep an eye out. I got super lucky. You wouldn't believe the number of ESP Standard Signature models that are sold for at or under $1500 here in Japan. I'm waiting on one of those deals.

that is a 7620, the pickup mounting tabs are triangular like that on the 7620's and more rounded/rectangular on the 7420's.
