Why would you want to be seen with that?! Mark, you're putting your whole career in jeopardy!

EDIT: You know I like SGs, Explorers, and the PRS Headstock design a lot.

But man, all 3 at the same time is too much XD

I like how the guitar makes his awkward dance/footscratching in the last picture look... not stupid

And I thought Mark's tribal design guitars were tacky...It's like an Explorer and a lefty Petrucci were fused together in a chemical accident. Something that the guys from Five Finger Death Punch should be playing :ugh:

Is it just me or does it seem like any time a guitar company makes some dumb shape people just bash on the company like they're giving up on regular guitars. I'm pretty sure these won't be replacing the custom 24 any time soon guys...

To me looks like something MusicMan would do rather than PRS :ugh:

There really does seem to be a trend for uglyass pointy guitars these days. But its kind of funny how the pendulum swings. I remember when Ibby put out the Xiphos and everyone got uber excited that finally point guitars were making a come back and a few places (other than B.C. Rich) were doing them well.

I was out of music for a couple years, come back now EVERYONE seems to have at least one attempt to reinvent the v-xplorer-ml-otherpointy-shape-here style guitar.

I guess we shouldn't complain at having options now, because with options come wins and not wins. But thats just my philosophical :2c:

Personally I think that thing looks like a Kelly and an Explorer had secks and produced crippled offspring that should have been left to dye out on the cold steeps of Scandes for the benefit of everyone. But I'm just one guy who probably will never be in charge of such decisions and for good reason

Seen worse, but if i didnt know its was PRS it would be one of my last guesses. I agree with dr game0ver, just a bit of pushing and pulling on the shape, starting with that horn, and id be like.. 'kay.

Still... Zero sh1ts given about this guy so knock yourself with the weird a$s guitar.

Love me some PRS, but count me out on that one. Not sure who designed it (maybe Mark told them he wanted a custom shape that he... or maybe his child... drew up...? :ugh:) but it's so far from the normal PRS-inspired designs that I have to think it wasn't Paul who came up with that shape.

    Dear Stevexc,
I have but one question: WWJD? What would Jeff do? I'm thinking a reimagining of this with minor bevels.
    Please and thank you.

    I love the reverse headstock.
As for the rest of it, PASS.

The SS.org pantheon some of the better known forum gods:

Stevexc: Patron deity of mockups and knowing the mind of Jeff Kiesel
Pondman: Patron deity of multi-laminate necks, accidental builds and build-whorage.
Skeels: Patron deity of liking this and spalted maple tops.
Jeff Kiesel: Patron deity of bevels.
MaxofMetal & Technomancer: High lords of Mod.

I'm sure there are more deities on our board but I'm on a phone on a train.

But srsly guys don't let your kids do an Ma in comparative religion :noplease:
