Hello everyone! This is my first post.

Just wanted to share my new song on my new guitar! I'm pretty noob about the whole process of recording, mixing, video editing, YouTubing, etc... any advice is appreciated!

    Baritone 7 string
    28.625" scale length
    Seymour Duncan Blackouts

What are the details? Tuning? Recording interface? Mic'd amp or pod/11r/etc? Video editing tool? Details man, details! Lol.

Pretty cool song man. Heavy as ballz. Trippy. Note definition is a bit lacking though, maybe too much distortion or just the chords itself. But it's definitley cool

    Thanks, guys!
I love the sound of low tunings typically done on 8+strings, but I have not found an 8 string that I felt comfortable playing. I've always preferred 7s, so I decided to try a baritone scale 7. It worked out just as good as I'd hoped.

Pod X3 Live straight into mic input of PC for recording
    Cubase 5 for DAW
    EZ Drummer (Drumkit from Hell)
Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing
    Strings- LaBella Crazy 8's (.009-.074, didn't use the 9 cause I'm on a 7 string)

guitar - Agile Intrepid Pro 728
    Baritone 7 string
    28.625" scale length
    Seymour Duncan Blackouts
    tuning - F C F Bb Eb G C

Cool song but it the lows sounds pretty muddy. A highpass filter on the guitars should clean things up a bit.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Not quite sure what a "high pass filter" is, but I'll do some research and try coming back with a new mix soon.
