Dude this is sweet. I've been working on my own sludgy like stuff but my style is a bit different than yours. This reminds me of Minsk or a bit of Cult of Luna. Are you gonna do vocals at all?

Really sweet man! I'm loving the contrast of ambience and sludge. The tones here are sick, looking forward to hearing this when it's done!

Yeah I'm gonna do vocals for the album. Something in the style of Aaron Turner from Isis I suppose, we'll see!

For the amps and stuffs, I'm quad tracking using LeCto and the redwirez Uberkab IRs. Two of the guitar tracks have TSE808 as well. All of this is sent to a group track and there I put some compression and a little bit of EQ (basic low and high pass, and a few minor tweaks here and there). I'm recording the dry tracks through my Pod xt live, with a patch I made using the Tube Preamp. Cleans are Pod as well.

Ah, right, for the intro guitar thing I used Lepou's Poulin Hybrit Head, also paired with redwirez.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! :bump:
