Guys it looks cool honestly. And yeah it's the only signature guitar they've made in years that fits the kind of metal I like (no, not Body Count, I mean Agent Steel, Evildead ). So I guess it's an improvement.

Random bout of speculation:

Sweetwater doesn’t have any of the KM MkIII models in stock right save for one or two demo models. It also doesn’t say the typical “More On Order. Notify me when in stock”, and instead claims that “while this isn’t an item we normally stock”, etc.

Here’s to hoping that means they have to generate new SKUs for updated models coming later this year and that’s why they aren’t using the usual info on the product page.

Good thought. Yeah it'd be cool seeing some new models, I just fear it won't happen seein how brands have handled things til now. Also, they've shown a new V already so there won't be any others for 5 or 6 year, which lowers my interest.

Now that they've been out a while, had anybody played the Super Shredder Exotics?
I was eyeing the black limba floyd version when the photos dropped, but they were hard to get at the time.
Now that they're more widely available I'm not running to get one, but I do keep going back to it as an option as a NGD.
All the weights I've seen listed are pretty high (up to 10lbs) and they are quite expensive compared to the other super shredder models (huge upcharge for limba?)

It's probably cheaper to buy outside the EU and pay dueties at this point.
Nevermind shipping you still get to pay the 20% VAT, plus potential custom fees since it's over 150€ in price and whatever fees your shipping company decides to add on top of that. In the end it might relatively be worth it to go through an EU retailer; the price difference when you add everything up isn't that big, even though I do think Schecters look pretty expensive in Europe most of the time.

Yup. That's some awful price gap, but what bugs me the most is that now indos and japanes are priced very closely. Wouldn't have expected that 5 years ago honestly. No idea why Schecs get priced that bad here in Europe.

Holy Shit!!! Wow are they sticking it to you guys :( That is $2600 USD.
Eh, yeah...problem is $=€ nowadays, so with all added fees and costs the price gets horrible quite fast.

Mmmm dunno, with added duties it doesnt get that cheap, and if you end up with a lemon it's a pain in the rear.

2.44 churros for a KM-7, man you guys got it great over there.
Yeah, that's why I say Schecter should work harder on stripped down models, outside US things get so expensive you essentially have to choose between 1.5-2.5k models with uber high specs, or beginner guitars.

ESP/LTD is much more balanced on that, a good part of their catalog is made by what you'd consider Hellraiser equivalents value and specs wise just with much more variety, hence the lower price on the deluxe series.

More interested in a omen elite since watching reviews of it saying that’s it’s thinner than a normal C1

But the question is so I want the Floyd one or the HT

Wish those KM guitars came in gloss finish. I'm not on the satin wagon.

A question mainly for the US guys: do you think the Hellraiser model is still selling fine? Because I honestly think they should at least enlarge the finish choice, and not with ones limited each year. And if it's not a good seller, why not revamping the line? I remember the pre 2009 being extremely aggro look wise, no abalone and just MOP on the side on some models. Aggro AF.
